Great, well written article. Few things to try here. I use the Pomodoro technique. Matches a little to the break down of work and having time to wander and get away from the problem.

Pomodoro has been so useful for me too. I’ve been still playing around with how long a session should be. It depends a lot on the task and my energy levels. My personal trigger: when I notice my concentration drops, it’s high time for a break.
